Here there be tigers... 01/17/2010
... or Tiger as it were. There is a little beastie in the basement; segregated from the common populaton and doted upon by mom and dad. I hear him mewling. So does Adina, who grooms her pretty stripes and flirts shamelessly from her side of the door. Tiger (I assume) meows back, lamenting his isolation. It is common to have quarantine within this place: small, furry people that, for whatever reason, cannot be among the rest of us yet. For Tiger - who I've heard is a tabby and white - though I've not seen him, lungworm is the ailment. We cannot see him until he is well. But I welcome Tiger. He is a cat and I forgive him that. When you are well I'll be happy to meet you. Add Comment A New Year 01/02/2010
Here I am, a dog. What does the new year have in store for me? I don't have any goals to improve my physical beauty. Leave that to Mom who huffs and puffs with her Wii and her treadmill. No resolutions to catch up on literature or eduacation. Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you please) those things are not the property of dogs. But a new year is a time of new beginnings and thus I feel that I must resolve to do something. But what thing? What thing is appropriate to my idiom? And do I need further education if I can use "idiom" in my vocabulary? But here it is: I, Orrin, the big, white husky mix, hereby resolve to excel at my obediance training. I resolve to get my CGC within 2011. Can I do it? Stay tuned. (And give me some comments already. I'm practically talking to myself, here.) | AuthorMy name is Orrin. I'm a big, white husky mix dog. I like you. I know we just met, but seriously, I like you already. ArchivesJanuary 2012 Categories |
